Mal’s Bar Presents MAW II: Mamas of Arm Wrestling
An Unforgettable Night of Competition Benefiting the Community Housing Coalition of Madison County
MARSHALL, N.C. — Prepare for an evening of outrageous entertainment and community spirit when Mal’s Bar hosts MAW II: Mamas of Arm Wrestling on Saturday, August 29, in downtown Marshall. The high-energy ladies arm wrestling tournament raises funds for the Community Housing Coalition (CHC) of Madison County and promises a night of fierce competition, unforgettable characters, and plenty of laughs—all for a great cause.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m., with the first match beginning promptly at 6:00 p.m. at Mal’s Bar, 121 South Main Street, Marshall, NC.
Tickets are $60 and must be purchased in advance. The event is expected to sell out, and tickets will not be available at the door. A live stream will also be available through Mal’s Bar’s social media channels. https://www.malsbarmarshall.com/maw
Fans will cheer on returning wrestling personalities including Queenpin, Cuntry Dumplin, Korn Chowder, and Phoenix Faucet as they battle for the coveted MAW II Championship Belt. Can reigning champion Queenpin defend her title, or will a new champion emerge?
The evening will be emceed by Jared Ericksen, with MAW founder Morgan Diep serving as referee. Guests can also enjoy music from DJ Amos and the crowd-favorite “Smashing Punkins” Fruit Smashers sideshow.
Proceeds from MAW II directly support CHC’s work providing urgent home repairs, accessibility modifications, and housing stabilization for Madison County residents, helping older adults, families, veterans, people with disabilities, and others remain safely in their homes.

About the Community Housing Coalition of Madison County
The Community Housing Coalition (CHC) of Madison County promotes healthy, safe, and affordable housing through advocacy, education, and resource development. For more than 20 years, CHC has provided urgent home repairs, rehabilitation services, accessibility improvements, and affordable replacement housing for low-income Madison County residents.
Each year, CHC serves more than 150 households by coordinating grant funding, community donations, and thousands of volunteer hours to complete critical repairs including roofing, flooring, electrical work, heating systems, accessibility modifications, and well and septic repairs—helping residents remain safely in the homes they love.
