Community Housing Coalition of Madison County (CHC) is excited to announce a grant award from WNC Bridge Foundation. This funding will be utilized to continue a CHC project originally made possible in 2019 by WNC Bridge Foundation to help address the needs of the elderly in Madison County. This project, named “Neighbors Helping Neighbors: Caring for our Elderly through Home Repair and Holistic Health Resources” has allowed CHC to deepen its impact in the lives of our community elders by addressing their urgent home repairs as well as connect them to other quality of life resources through partnerships with organizations and agencies in Madison County.
CHC staff are looking forward to the opportunity from WNC Bridge Foundation for another year of strengthening this project and its impact as we navigate the increasing needs of our communities, especially those of our elderly so they may safely age in place.
