North Carolina Community Foundation

We’re incredibly grateful to share that the North Carolina Community Foundation has awarded CHC a $100,000 grant to support ongoing disaster relief efforts in Madison County.

These funds will provide direct home repair assistance for Hurricane Helene survivors—helping purchase building materials and secure licensed contractors when needed to complete urgent repairs and get families safely back in their homes.

Through its Disaster Relief Fund, the North Carolina Community Foundation has awarded 108 grants totaling $9 million to support long-term recovery efforts following Hurricane Helene across western North Carolina.

We deeply appreciate their continued commitment to this long recovery process. We’re honored to work alongside so many trusted partners and organizations dedicated to helping our community rebuild.
